Event Contributors are the heartbeat of our events. From setting up, performing, DJing, bartending, or offering other event support, these volunteers help create unforgettable experiences. Community Managers ensure that our events are inclusive, welcoming, and engaging. They connect with attendees, encourage mingling, and make newcomers feel at home. Community Managers also promote events, stay attuned to the community’s needs, and provide feedback to our leadership team. Responsibilities include attending your assigned events and participating in a bi-annual Community Manager meeting.

Advisors bring unique perspectives and expertise to help guide Gay Social’s decisions. Appointed by the board, Advisors provide valuable feedback and insights. They attend 1-2 events per month and attend quarterly board meetings and contribute to shaping the organization’s vision.

They attend 1-2 events per month and participate in quarterly board meetings. Board Members are elected annually and must have previously served as in a Leadership role or as an Advisor.
